WOW! What a great birthday year…

I thought a safari would be hard to beat but this year was filled with so many different joys: First came our new Granddaughter, followed by a family holiday in Cornwall, wandering around all those lovely Galleries was a gift in itself. I then travelled a lot having breaks in, Greece: Isle of Wight: Paris Sweden: Dorset and more, a playful year and also one of my busiest Art wise with Exhibitions Pop up shops and teaching classes. It really was all going on. 

It’s a compliment every time a piece of my art is bought or a class is attended so a massive THANK YOU for a great year!

WOOHOO! Paint Parties and Workshops

Running Private Parties was a lot of fun with many different groups attending, from family gatherings to hen parties and baby showers. I loved being a part of those occasions. More men came this year which was great too, we all need time to chill out.  Paint Parties for 2025 will continue with a new fun theme: following the signs (animals) of the Zodiac, which is already proving to be fun. With a Paint Party every month also comes Art Nights, I research a new Art theme and you turn up with your own supplies and have a go with likeminded people.  So Many of us have Art supplies tucked away in a draw, well now you can attend your own hobby group with your own supplies and I will help you get the most out of what you bring for the theme that month. Newbies just starting out can still use my supplies and walk away with their own masterpiece. Lastly I am running Incredible Ink classes from my Studio in Faversham every month too, a fabulous fun medium to work with resulting in vibrant abstract art.

EXCITED: What I am working on…

I did create a new collection of work using Alcohol Inks, a seaside theme that did well and helped inspire the new classes I am now running. Its completely different from the last collection and oil paints that I am used to but I have a plan to get back to oils…  I’ll keep you posted.

Way forward for 2025…

The rugged coastline of Sweden over the Summer Solstice and my other travels added to my thirst for a Landscape collection. However, I have filled my diary somewhat with Baby Pippa and three workshops a month plus some fun extra events I’m putting on like Mothers Day etc So I’m excited to say that I will be going on an ART RETREAT this year to the rugged beautiful Kerry in Ireland. I have followed this artist, Roisin O’Farrell since I started painting, so to be able to attend her week long Art adventure painting in oils is everything I could hope for. Lets see what comes out of this adventure…
