Diary Dates 2027 – A Year of Art, Adventure & Creative Calm!

What a year it’s been! We started 2026 in Antigua, enjoyed the Isle of Wight music festival, found a fabulous doggy day care for Bobby, celebrated a fantastic hen weekend in London (where I even painted a male torso — a first for me!), travelled around Italy by train for ten days, enjoyed Crete with the family and, of course, celebrated my daughter’s wedding in August.

My trusty watercolours came everywhere with me, allowing me to immortalise the energy of the time and place, whether it was aa field, Italian trains or a balcony in Crete, where I squeezed in some painting before the grandchildren’s fizzy energy bounced into a new day!

Travel has always inspired me, and this year has ignited some fabulous themed art ideas for you to enjoy in 2027.

So, what’s new for 2027?

My artistic ambitions have grown massively this year, so I’ve moved my studio from Faversham back into my garden in Sittingbourne. More time to paint, more room to experiment and a whole new chapter for my creative adventures!

I’m so convinced that giving ourselves the freedom to create can make us feel better in so many ways that we’ve built the Energy Release Room alongside my studio.

Fancy dancing around with family and friends, throwing paint at a canvas and generally letting go? Or perhaps life has thrown you a few curve balls and you need somewhere to release a little anger, frustration or pent-up energy? This is a new art adventure for all ages, with absolutely no artistic experience required!

My one-to-one sessions have also grown, using creativity to support people who need time, space and a different way to express themselves. And so Creative Calm has evolved, with lots more opportunities to explore art, wellbeing and mindful creativity.

I haven’t forgotten the little ones either! The Creative Calm Kids Club has brought Safari Adventures and half-term Halloween fun to children aged 4–10. The biggest star of the show? Without a doubt, Bobby, who was adored by all the children. He’s certainly living his best life now! 😁

What can you enjoy in 2027?

• Private Paint Parties – birthdays, hen parties, family celebrations and get-togethers.
• Creative Calm Experiences – mindful art, one-to-one creative support and time to reconnect with your creativity.
• Energy Release Room – paint, music, movement and the freedom to let go!
• Italian-Inspired Art Days – art, delicious food, music and a little taste of la dolce vita.
• Themed Creative Evenings – including Murano-inspired art and other travel-inspired adventures.
• Creative Calm Kids Club – imaginative art activities and seasonal holiday fun.
• Painting Kits – creative fun at home, with materials and guidance to help you get started.
• Creative Retreats – longer, immersive experiences are in development, with more substantial retreats planned for the future.

And something else to look forward to… the Heidi Schaffner Art Colouring Book! I’m turning some of my favourite paintings into colouring adventures, with original artwork, interesting facts and space to experiment with colour and blending. A little creativity to enjoy whenever you fancy.

New dates, themes and booking details will be added as plans take shape, so keep checking back.
