This Endangered Mural was my Covid -lockdown labour of love. Size 5ft x 4ft this was my happy meditative place. I designed it for my garden wall so that as painting enthusiasts enter the garden they will hopefully get excited about what they are going to paint with me at paint parties or what they are going to buy when they come to view.

I first sketched this piece and painted it in watercolour A3 size. By doing so, I adjusted the composition and scaled the drawing up by eye, primed the wood and set to work blending the background for the different animals position and how they would each migrate into each others zone. Working mainly with palette knives and in-between other projects, the images gradually emerged and graced us with their presence a little more as each week passed.
Whilst it is entitled Endangered, I am always relieved to find a species that was once threatened on the Endangered list, no longer vulnerable. This is the case with the Bald Eagle. I felt he acted like a beacon of hope for the others who still need more protection.
The others being a “Big tusker” Elephant; a laid back Orangutan; a Lion surveying all his land and an excited Sea Turtle. Ranging from being certified Vulnerable to Critically endangered, I want to raise awareness of their unique beauty of species that for me, would be a crime to loose. The original can be viewed in my garden in Kent alternatively you can always commission your own mural. The individual animals will also become available soon as prints

THINKING OF PURCHASING, PLEASE NOTE:

Original canvases come ready to hang, signed on the front, named on the back. Please allow 1-2 weeks to process your order, whilst we create your custom postage and packaging for safe delivery/shipment.

SIZE

It is advisable to use the painting measurements stated to make sure it will fit your preferred space as you would like it, allowing for framing if necessary. In-situ images are not to be used as a definitive guide.

COLOUR

Please remember that all devises display colour differently, so your painting may differ slightly in colour from the image you see onscreen.

DELIVERY/SHIPPING IS FREE OF CHARGE

All Items will be packaged with care and protection and with the environment in mind we often recycle packaging. Your delivery may come directly from my trusted printers, whose standards of work and care are recognized by our National art galleries, or by courier or from Royal Mail/Parcelforce as I am based in the UK. Large prints over A1 size may be rolled and sent in a strong tube, otherwise all others will be sent flat.
Processing time line: 1-4 days for small paintings, up to 14 for large artworks
Delivery to UK : 1-3 working days (for first class)
Shipping to Western Europe : 1-4 working days
Shipping to Eastern Europe: 3-7 working days
Shipping to rest of the world : 5 – 10 working days

REFUNDS

Please check the condition of your item before signing; and inform me of any damages within 24 hours of receipt.
If you would like a refund, please contact me. The item must be returned for my attention at the address shown, and be in good condition with the original packaging. No amount can be refunded until the item has been returned in undamaged condition.

PRINTS AND SPECIAL EDITIONS

I use an award winning Giclee printers who use the latest equipment, museum grade digital fine art paper and lightfast ink resulting in high quality archival quality prints.

Limited edition Prints will come with a certificate of authenticity including the edition details.

All cards are left blank for your own message making them versatile for any occasion.
There are two sets:
A mixture of six animals, changes are made periodically
A mixture of six cards, taken from my Landscapes and Inspired art pieces. Changes are made periodically.

All cards are FSC certified, which means that all the paper my Professional printers use is from a supply chain that is traceable and responsible. All cards are supplied with premium-recycled envelopes.
