Tantalising Tuna

I got blue and green paint everywhere in the making of this piece, even went out with it in my hair. I looked like I was on trend though, so just went with it! Getting messy is part of the enjoyment of creating, and I loved painting this fellow with his friends trying to muscle in on the piece.

Whilst fish have a smooth look, my more textured style showcases how light plays on their bodies especially with the mixture of colours I enjoyed applying.

There are a number of different Tuna species, some have come back from the brink of extinction and others are at, or careering towards critically endangered. Overfishing is the cause, lets hope these guys are still around long after we are gone.
