This cute baby was inspired by an invitation to exhibit in an exhibition at a large Kent shopping Centre; Bluewater in Greenhithe, hosted by Under the Rainbow Events. They wanted to showcase uplifting and joyful art after the lack of exhibitions and last two years of turmoil for everyone.
The rainbow for me is a sign of hope, so, ever optimistic about our ability to help the animals whose lives we have placed in jeopardy, I used the playfulness of the Elephants nature to start the joyous message that would go on to include a Giraffe and Lion under the rainbow.
I enjoyed creating this triptych concept and using both brushes and palette knives to execute the bold look.
